I am a disabled person, I get around in a wheelchair, and I often encounter access problems. The one thing that sets hotels apart from the rest is their easy accessibility. This was echoed again recently when I stayed at a lovely hotel while attending a course for amputees. There were ramps for wheelchair access, which allowed me unhindered movement. Though I do not need special care, the staff was particularly attentive and my request for a plastic chair to shower on was quickly organized. I enjoyed all of the facilities and had a sauna twice in my three-day stay. I dined at the hotel’s wonderful restaurant, had I not been married, and in a loving relationship I would have made advances to the young girl eyeing me out at the bar during my pre-dinner drink. Just joking, that did not happen. The hotel was very clean and neat with lovely artworks and beautifully constructed furniture. What a pleasure it is to stay in hotels.
